Atlantis (officially Republic of Atlantis) is a country not yet officially recognized by international organizations or countries recognized by the first. The Republic has two territories, one in southern Italy (Campania) and one in Denmark. In addition to these territories Atlantis claim a territory in Antarctica (recorded to the AMU). The form of government is parliamentary republic changed recently (2010) moving from the presidential republic. The Republic is a democratic nation, distinguished by a strong sense of popular sovereignty, diversity of thought and being and the recognition of human rights and the absolute equality with his fellows. Currently has relationships with numerous intermicronational organizations and micronations around all the world. One characteristic is that citizens are not only those born in a area but they are united by a common choice to belong to a free state whose citizens may participate actively in the life of the nation with a sense of duty not only to Atlantis but also to humanity in general.
